Regarding volume, the People's Republic of China continued to be the main destination for Argentine beef in June 2024 with approximately 43.5 thousand tons (including bone-in), followed by the United States with 4.3 thousand tons; and then Israel with 1.6 thousand tons.

Regarding foreign currency received in June 2024, China was the main market, accounting for 55% of the total export value for chilled, frozen and processed beef during this period, followed by the United States (11%), and Germany (7%).

If we analyze the type of goods shipped in June 2024, a regressive trend in the exported volumes of chilled boneless beef (-23.6%) is observed compared to the previous month. During this period, there was also an increase of 9.3% in the exported volumes of frozen boneless beef and a 3.7% increase in frozen bone-in beef.

Of the approximately 212.6 million dollars of beef exports (including bone-in) in June 2024, about 26% came from boneless chilled cuts, the tariff position that includes the products with the highest unit values, such as Hilton cuts. Frozen boneless cuts accounted for 64% of the foreign currency inflows during the last month of June, while frozen bone-in beef and frozen bones, which are destined for the Chinese market, made up approximately 9.4%.
