The Argentine Beef Promotion Institute (IPCVA) participated alongside exporting companies from the sector in Gulfood 2025, one of the most important food events in the Middle East, held from February 17 to 21 at the World Trade Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Argentine Beef Pavilion
For this edition of Gulfood, IPCVA presented the traditional "Argentine Beef" pavilion, covering an area of 200 square meters, featuring ten exporting companies and a dedicated Argentine beef tasting area.
The companies that accompanied the Institute in this initiative were: Abuelo Julio, Azul Natural Beef, Ecocarnes, Frigorífico General Pico, Frigorífico Gorina, Frigorífico Rioplatense, Frimsa, Grupo Lequio, Industrias Frigoríficas Sur, Madeka, and Offal Exp.
Institutional Agenda
As part of the fair, strategic meetings were held with Tharwat Al-Bataineh, an official from the Food Safety Department of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment of the United Arab Emirates, and with the Argentine Ambassador to the UAE, Jorge Molina Arambarri.
Additionally, meetings were held with executives from Spinneys, a leading supermarket chain with 65 branches in the UAE and presence in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Qatar, Lebanon, Oman, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, among other countries.
IPCVA authorities also visited the headquarters of the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) and participated in a meeting with His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Salman Al Hammadi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Food Diversity Sector at MOCCAE, to discuss opportunities for collaboration and strengthening commercial relations in the beef sector.
