As part of its promotional efforts in the United States, IPCVA is sponsoring Los Hornos KC, the Argentine restaurant that became a gathering place for thousands of fans and also brought Argentine beef to the National Team’s base camp.
As part of IPCVA’s ongoing efforts to promote Argentine beef in the United States, and taking advantage of the arrival of Argentine fútbol passion in Kansas City, we became sponsors of Los Hornos KC, a restaurant that over the past few weeks became one of the main meeting points for thousands of Argentines and fans who came from different places.
With authentic Argentine beef playing a starring role in this important city in the American Midwest, which welcomed it with open arms, Los Hornos KC became much more than a restaurant. It hosted the first large gathering of fans supporting the Argentine team, as well as countless family get-togethers and long meals shared around excellent cuts of Argentine beef.

That same passion for keeping traditions alive led the Tucumán family that founded Los Hornos KC to be invited to bring Argentine beef to the team’s base camp in Kansas City, a story that La Gaceta tells in detail in the article linked below.
We also share images from that special moment, kindly sent by Darío Jerez Leavy, owner of the restaurant together with his wife, Isolina. The grill master at Los Hornos, alongside his father-in-law, and the protagonist of the attached video, Darío tells us about the qualities of Argentine beef, the pride they feel in being able to offer it in Kansas City, and the extraordinary reception it has received, not only among Argentines, but also among local consumers, who discovered and enjoyed its unique flavor and tenderness.
Authentic Argentine beef made its home base in Kansas City and found there a community that welcomed it as its own.
