On 21 July, the Argentine Embassy in Lisbon organised an exclusive Argentine beef tasting lunch at its official residence, which brought together leading representatives of the Portuguese food sector.
The event was attended by executives from the country's main distribution chains, such as Jerónimo Martins and Lidl, as well as major beef importers and distributors such as Aviludo, Frimarc, Campicarn and Carsiva. Also present were leading figures from the gastronomic world, including managers of iconic Lisbon restaurants such as Sala de Corte, as well as renowned Portuguese chef Kiko Martins, who highlighted the quality of Argentine beef in his dishes.
The event was supported by the Argentine Beef Promotion Institute (IPCVA), which contributed high-quality cuts of beef for tasting.
The following day, 22 July, an institutional dinner was held with renowned Portuguese personalities, including the President of the Institute for the Promotion of Latin America and the Caribbean (IPDAL), the Coordinator of the Atlantic Centre and local journalists, who were also able to enjoy the flavours of Argentine beef.
These actions reinforce Argentina's presence in the Portuguese market and contribute to the consolidation of beef as an ambassador of excellence at the international level.
