RECIPE
Ingredients:
800 gr beef
2 onions
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 slices of bread
Olive oil
Salt and pepper
300 ml stout beer
Preparation:
Heat the oil in a large pot over high heat and sear the pieces of meat, seasoned with salt and pepper. Set aside.
Pour in more oil and fry the sliced onions.
Add 1 tbsp flour and brown sugar, stir for a minute, then add the meat pieces, thyme, bay leaf, and stout beer until the meat is covered. Let the alcohol evaporate, then reduce the heat.
Spread mustard on the slices of bread and place them on top of the meat. Cover and cook on low heat for 2-3 hours, stirring occasionally.
Serve with your preferred side dish and enjoy!
