The long-awaited Sial Paris 2024 came to an end, reaffirming not only the fair’s prestige but also the outstanding presence and influence of Argentine beef exporters, who stood out in the IPCVA's Argentine Beef Pavilion.

There was optimism, business deals, and very promising prospects, as highlighted by the entrepreneurs at the close of the event.

 “The results were extremely positive,” remarked Jorge Grimberg, president of the IPCVA. “We had the opportunity to talk with European Union officials and importers, and we were accompanied by top-level authorities, such as the General Secretary of the Presidency, Karina Milei, and Secretary Juan Pazo, to whom we expressed our gratitude for the removal of barriers to exports,” he added.

The Vice President of the Institute, Mario Ravettino, commented that it was “a very significant fair, not only because of the presence of European consumers and clients but also because buyers from around the world, including China, Russia, the Arab countries, and Israel, were present.” Regarding business, Ravettino added, “We are in a stable market situation, which is interesting in terms of volume.”

In addition to steady traditional demand, there were new inquiries from regions such as Eastern Europe and North Africa, driven by some challenges in Brazil. They also confirmed that good news is expected from Morocco, as starting next month, Argentina will be able to enter that market without incurring tariffs or VAT.

The Argentine Beef Pavilion

For its participation in the fair, the Argentine Beef Promotion Institute (IPCVA) created a spacious 1,050 m² Argentine Beef Pavilion, featuring individual spaces for exporters and a large restaurant with over 200 seats, where clients could enjoy tastings of grilled steaks, cube roll, and striploin.
