As part of the commemoration of the 215th Anniversary of the May Revolution, National Day was celebrated at the Residence of the Permanent Mission of Argentina to the OAS.

 

The event was attended by distinguished authorities and representatives from the diplomatic and multilateral spheres, including:

• Mr. Albert Ramdin, Secretary General of the OAS

• Mr. Néstor Méndez, Assistant Secretary General of the OAS

• Ms. Mary Lou Valdez, Deputy Director of PAHO

• Permanent Representatives of the 31 Member States to the OAS

• Ambassador Alejandro Oxenford, Embassy of the Argentine Republic in the United States

• Officials from the Argentine Embassy in the United States

• Armed Forces Attachés accredited to the United States

 

The event menu included a tasting of Argentine beef, thanks to the contribution of the IPCVA, which highlighted the quality of the national product before a high-level diplomatic and multilateral audience.

 

The activity took place in an atmosphere of camaraderie and was an opportunity to strengthen bilateral and regional ties within the OAS.
